Set in the heart of Ivory Coast, Yakro Boutique Hotel is conceived as a serene retreat where contemporary hospitality meets traditional African architectural inspiration. The design draws from local vernacular principles, expressed through earthy color palettes, raw textures, and natural materials that root the project firmly in its cultural and environmental context.

At the center of the resort, a generous swimming pool becomes the focal point of the composition, directly oriented toward a series of private cabanas to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Floating wooden decks with loungers hover above the water, offering shaded and sunlit moments for rest, while reinforcing the fluid relationship between architecture and landscape.

Anchoring the pool experience, a floating central platform with a bar serves as a social hub — an inviting destination that animates the resort both day and night. The overall design celebrates simplicity, authenticity, and connection to nature, creating a boutique hospitality experience that feels warm, immersive, and deeply connected to its African roots.
